Molten metal is then poured into the cavity, filling the space and taking the shape of the pattern. Once the metal solidifies, the ceramic shell is broken away, revealing the final cast part. Investment casting offers several advantages, including the ability to produce intricate details, thin walls, and smooth surface finishes. It is widely used in industries such as aerospace, jewelry, and medical equipment manufacturing.
